TECHNOLOGY

The entire manufacturing process is carried out using quality, durable materials. ECCO-CASAS does the entire design process of the home, from sawing the trunks, cutting, drying and treating the wood. Using the complete assembly of panels and assembly at the final destination.

Our ecologically responsible construction process is always the same. We study the location, the type of building, the thermal study or the solar phase change, the thickness of the different sections of the wooden structure, as well as the thickness and type of materials. The type of insulation may vary.

The forest:

For the frame structure, the most commonly used woods are the epiáceas (spruce) Class 2 for interior woods and the Class 4 for wood used outdoors.

It should be noted that the certifications of CTB P + products (for preservatives) and CTB B + (for treated wood products) guarantee the efficacy of these products. In addition, the CTBP + certification incorporates a health and environmental acceptability of the products.

For a quick comparison, a wall of a 20 cm brick with 10 cm outer insulation in polystyrene, very rarely exceeds R = 3.85 m2 C / W for the same wall thickness

Interior insulators:

You can also choose the type of insulation from different products on the market, such as traditional glass wool or wood fibers and rock wool, which are the most used in our type of construction. Its thermal characteristics are almost identical FROM R = 3.30 K / W IN 100 MN to R = 6.85 K / W IN 240 MN

Exterior insulators:

This is the case of the finish chosen between an exterior wood cladding or an elastomeric plaster finish. You can use expanded polystyrene, but also insulators such as wool or rock wood. These insulators are also used to insulate the roof.
There is also other types of insulation such as natural wool or animal wool, with superior performance, although it is advisable to inform you of the price and regulations in force for this type of insulation.

Interior finish:

For the finishing of the interior walls, the most used materials are the famous Placoplatre dis BA 13, essential today in the construction, which have advantages but also many disadvantages. Ecco-Casas strongly recommends that these buildings use Fermacell, although it is more expensive, in the end it is the same as BA 13, since the joints of the plates require much less work.

In addition, we can see that Fermacell has different advantages in contrast to a plasterboard plate in several factors, greater acoustic insulation, greater resistance to moisture, greater resistance to impact. The labels and the technical opinion of CSTB certify a quality for the ecological housing environment.
Each of these two products can be adapted to any current decorative choice.

BASEMENTS:

In most cases, the traditional basement are carried out mainly in the traditional concrete version.
We have a wide range of solutions at your disposal. The choice is often made after the study of the ground that will determine the type of basis to perform, our choice will always be carried out with the same criteria:

  • Waterproofing

  • Quality of implementation

This criteria will be applied systematically in the case of basement or sanitary floors or a simple concrete slab.

There are different criteria and plans according to the specific regulations of each municipality and especially for non-usual places, such as natural areas, or for reasons of speed of execution or for cost reasons.
